Are you beating the market?

Most investors never check. BullBenchmark reads the export file your broker already gives you, rebuilds your whole history, and puts your real return next to the S&P 500. No broker login, ever.

The verdict, computed

Your dashboard opens with one number: your return, set next to the index’s over the same days, computed from your own deposits and trades. Time-weighted, so a lucky deposit does not flatter you and a badly timed one does not damn you.

One file is the setup

No passwords, no API keys, no account linking. The standard export from DeGiro, Interactive Brokers, Trading 212, Robinhood or eToro is enough. An unknown format? Map its columns once and it is recognized from then on.

Every broker, one page

Holdings from all your brokers in one table, in your currency. Dividends paid and projected, realized and unrealized gains kept apart, and a year report with the numbers your tax return actually asks for.

The export desk

Your broker keeps the file here

Pick your broker and get the exact route to the export. Every plan comes from our full guides, and the first upload is the whole setup.

  1. Log in on the web — the app can't export.
  2. Overzichten → Transacties → set the start date to your first-ever trade → Export → XLSX.
  3. Overzichten → Rekeningoverzicht → same full range → Export → XLSX. Your dividends live in this one.
  4. Upload both files.

Two files, because DeGiro keeps dividends out of the transaction export — most people miss the second one.

  1. Log in to Client Portal.
  2. Performance & Reports → Statements → Activity.
  3. Run one statement per calendar year (the range tops out at 365 days), format CSV.
  4. Upload all the yearly files together — merging is the tracker's job.
~10 MIN FOR FULL HISTORYRead the full IBKR guide

Upload once a quarter or more? Set up a Flex Query once and reuse it forever — the guide shows how.

  1. In the app or on the web: Menu → History → the export icon (top right).
  2. Include all data types; the range maxes out at one year per export.
  3. The CSV arrives by email — request one file per year of history.
  4. Upload all files together.

Fractional shares like 0.0384741 are perfectly normal in a T212 export — the tracker reads them as-is.

  1. Account → Statements & History → Reports and statements → Reports.
  2. Generate new report, full date range.
  3. Download the CSV when it's ready.
  4. Upload it.

Amounts in parentheses like ($900.00) are negative — accounting notation. The tracker understands it.

  1. Portfolio → the clock icon (History).
  2. The gear or export icon → Account statement.
  3. Pick your full date range and download the XLSX.
  4. Upload it.

Buys and sells appear as "Open Position" and "Position closed" rows — same events, eToro's labels.

Different broker? Upload the file anyway — dozens of formats are recognized automatically, and anything else you map once and it's remembered.

The morning ledger

Every broker, one table

A sample portfolio: five holdings across two brokers, in euros. The last column is the verdict per position — each one held against the S&P 500 over the same days.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Do I have to connect my broker account?

No, and you never will. BullBenchmark only reads the export files you download yourself. We cannot touch your money or your account. That is by design.

Which brokers work?

DeGiro, Interactive Brokers, Trading 212, Robinhood and eToro are fully supported. Dozens more work through format profiles. Anything else: map your columns once, and that format is recognized from then on.

How fresh is the data?

Prices refresh every hour while markets are open and settle on the official closing prices after the US close. Dividends and FX rates update daily. It's a tracker, not a trading terminal — you don't need ticks; you need truth.

What happens to my data?

It stays yours. Your transactions are stored encrypted and never sold or shared. Export or delete everything with one click. Our business model is the €5.99. You're the customer, not the product.

Will the numbers match my broker app?

Close, but not always to the cent. Brokers differ on cost-basis method and whether fees sit inside it. We use average cost and book fees separately, and we show the math. When a number differs you can see exactly why.

What happens after the free week?

Nothing, unless you decide otherwise. We don't ask for a card up front. After 7 days you either subscribe or your account goes read-only. Export or delete your data anytime.

How much does BullBenchmark cost?

One plan: €5.99 per month, or €59.99 per year which works out to two months free. Every feature is included. The first 7 days are free and we only ask for payment details if you decide to stay.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. You can create your account with Google or with just your email address; we send a sign-in link, so there is no password to remember or leak.

How does the referral program work?

Share your personal link. When a friend signs up through it and becomes a subscriber, you get two months added to your account. There is no limit on how many friends you can refer.

Can I use it for multiple brokers at once?

Yes, that is one of the main reasons people use it. Upload an export from each broker and everything merges into one portfolio: one allocation, one dividend calendar, one benchmark verdict.

How do I delete my account?

One button under Account settings. It permanently removes your transactions, uploads and settings, in line with GDPR. We keep only an anonymous marker so the free trial cannot be reused, and even that disappears after a year.

Is BullBenchmark investment advice?

No. We show you what your portfolio did, we never tell you what to buy. Think of it as honest bookkeeping for your investments, not a recommendation engine.
